Blogging is a dynamic process. There are constantly new postings throughout the blogosphere, and design updates. BlogUpp! is automatically following all those, so that to deliver them fresh to its community.

Having in mind that blog thumbnails are re-created by us to better represent your blogs, it is advised that you first check your blog in blog directory before you intend to re-generate your blog thumbnail. Note that http://www.blogupp.com/directory/blog/Blog-URL stores your blog page in the directory, where Blog-URL is your blog address without http:// prefix. Depending on how your blog was submitted initially, www prefix might also be part of blog directory address.

Note that thumbnail update operation is limited to 1 per day per blog. The snapshot is taken based on the view generated in Internet Explorer at 1024x1124 resolution. For security reasons, while making a new snapshot of your blog there are disabled some browser's components, such as scripting and ActiveX (including video embeds). In this context you are advised to check your site in Internet Explorer first, and make it look nice before re-generating your thumbnail again.

Note that periodically we do review updated snapshots, and re-generate them when appropriate, to best represent your blogs. If you'd want to urge a manual review of your thumbnail, you are welcome to do so either via Twitter or email.

Should you notice that your blog thumbnail is not refreshed in the widget upon request, it might be that you are still viewing the old one, stored in your cache. Consider clearing it, and try again.
